I’m feeling fairly body conscious these days. Summer means wearing less clothing and flashing more of my extra pale flesh. New York in the summer, in particular, means that if you’re not sitting in ice cold air conditioning, you are probably melting.  Despite the fact that I DO spend all day in the ice box known as my office, the subways are like taking a short trip to hell, or what I can only imagine it was supposed to feel like on that island on LOST (seriously, I mean they were permanently covered in sweat, pit stains were a fixture).

Anyways - who wouldn’t feel body conscious when these are the mannequins filling the windows of Club Monaco? I’ve never seen ones that have their SPINE on display like that. I think it’s one thing to promote teeny tiny measurements, but it’s quite another to visualize the look like that.
